Santa Fe Shakespeare Society

Thank you, everyone who made

the most popular and successful

Summer Shakespeare production EVER!

staged reading!

October 9, 10 and 11
All performances at 7PM
By donation

Please note: the October 3 & 4th performances have been cancelled.

Anyone who has seen our Samplers, or 2014's KING LEAR,

knows our staged readings are unlike any others! Society

members embody Shakespeare's words with a few props and

costumes, some music, and a ton of talent. THE WINTER'S TALE

will be an intense, emotion-filled evening, as the Bard's brilliant tragi-comedy is

brought to life in an intimate staged reading.

A kingdom fractured by jealousy!
A missing child!
The most famous stage direction in Shakespeare!

Cast: Ken Bordner, Eibhlin Brennan, Deborah Dennard, Jerry Ferraccio,

Tom Franks, Joyce Lynn, Patsy Magno, Quinn Mander, Donald Percious,

Rosalia Triana, Hamilton Turner and many other local favorites!

The beautiful masks used in this summer's production of The Tempest will be on display!

Hosted at the following location (click for directions):

FOLIO FRIDAY continues!

Friday, October 16, 2015

Come to our monthly reading group!

October starts that most daunting of plays, HAMLET! A side-by-side examination of the Second Quarto and First Folio texts,

with discussions of how HAMLET was affected by the time in which it was written, and how the intervening centuries

have molded our perceptions of this greatest of tragic heroes.

All welcome, no prior experience necessary!

Everyone gets a chance to read (unless you don't want to, then come listen)!
